Okay, so I have seen many people discussing the song "It's Been so Long."

If you read the FNaF Wiki, You'd understand, or kinda get the gist of it all. I will explain the main story:

 

Purple Guy, AKA Vincent (Thanks, Rebornica. ♥) Lured 5 children to the back of the restaurant, claiming that they were going to meet Golden Freddy. It technically wasn't a lie, but I'm 100% sure they didn't want to meet Golden Freddy this way.

Vincent (Purple Guy) Slaughtered the children. He then stuffed the children into the Animatronics. Hence why it mentions on the Wiki that Blood and Mucus were leaking out of the Animatronic's eyes.

Another theory about what Vincent did was,

He dressed up as Golden Freddy and took them to the back. I think the first one makes more sense though, considering he died in  Springtrap. What I mean by that is, He couldn't possibly been able to last that long in the Golden Freddy suit without the springs locking. I mean, All he did was stand up and laugh in Springtrap then he died.

He died.

*static* Okay anyway, back to the purpose of this.

The Song "It's Been So Long" By the Living Tombstone (I linked it at the top) is basically a mother of one of the children's POV, expressing her feelings as well as telling the story of what happened. If you watch the Video, It's also pretty self explanatory.

 

 

But not to fear, GrapeToastia is here! I'll break the song down for you mofos.

 

 

"I don't know what I was thinking, Leaving My child behind."

 

If you don't understand this then wow.  She let her child run off and did not entirely pay attention to him/her.

 

"Now I suffer the curse, and now I am blind."

 

Not exactly sure how to explain this. I'll update this part once I figure it out.

 

 

"With all this anger, Guilt and Sadness, coming to haunt me forever."

 

Simple, She's saying she will be Angry, Guilty and Sad forever. It'll linger in her mind, and everyday she will beat herself up about it.

 

"I can't wait for the cliff at the end of the river."

 

Suicide.

 

It's been So long, Since I last had seen my son lost to this monster, to the man behind the slaughter.

 

She hasn't seen her son, simply because the man (Purple Guy/Vincent) slaughtered him. Therefore, she's calling him a monster.
